Accreditation of foreign company in Russia: Foreign company may be represented in Russia in different ways – as subsidiary, as a representative office or a branch, or even through the activity of its agent having the respective authorities. To form a representative office or a branch, a foreign company should pass through accreditation procedure, i.e. to obtain a permission to form a representative office or a branch in the territory of the Russian Federation. Prolongation of accreditation in Russia: Representative office may be accredited for a term of 1-3 years and a branch for a term of 1-5 years. When the initial term of accreditation is coming up to an end, the foreign company should pass through the procedure of prolongation of accreditation.
